A few weeks ago, Poetic Justice had a chance to give back to the community by participating in the Kurves for a Kidney charity fashion show on Los Angeles, California.
This charity fashion show was produced by leading Plus models Sommer Green, Vanessa Lunnon, and Summer Wayans to raise money for photographer Michael Anderson Hermogeno and to raise awareness for kidney disease.
Our lead designer, Tiffany Reese is very aware of the impact of this disease because her father suffered from it. “My father suffered from it. He was on dialysis for ten years until his heart gave out. So when I heard about the event I immediately felt compelled to volunteer for the cause, said Reese. They were able to raise around $3000 for Hermogeno who is currently suffering from Kidney failure. If you would like to support Michael in his endeavor to fight Kidney disease please visit his Go Fund Me page and donate.
